street fashion



There is this website with snapshots of "interesting" fashion in the street of Tokyo. Sometimes I feel like I live in a different world. Wait a minute, I do.

Coming from the land of the T-shirt and jeans, I always found the fashion in Japan refreshing. Each neighborhood in Tokyo has its own flavor and atmosphere to it, and it seemed like you could tell what part of Tokyo you were in just by what people were wearing ... chic Aoyama, goofy Harajuku, all-business Shinjuku (west of the tracks, at least), hip Shibuya ... never a dull moment.

I agree. It's exciting most of the time as it is dreadful other times. Nonetheless intriguing.
